Fed: Bartlett leaves the door open for reform

Australian Democrats leadership hopeful ANDREW BARTLETT has left the door open to areform agenda, saying changes are clearly needed within the party.

Senator BARTLETT says he's keen to work with everybody on debating the party's issuesand implementing positive reforms.

He's standing against interim leader BRIAN GREIG, also a supporter of former leaderNATASHA STOTT DESPOJA.

Senator GREIG has ruled out any consideration of the 10-point plan put forward lastweek by the so-called gang of four Democrats senators, which led to Senator STOTT DESPOJA'sresignation.

But Senator BARTLETT says both himself and Senator STOTT DESPOJA have publicly statedthey're willing to consider reforms for improving the party.
